안녕하세요, 세계태권도평화봉사재단 사무국입니다. 재단에서는 태권도 세계화를 위한 사업의 일환으로 ODA국가를 중심으로 매년 해외 태권도용품 지원 사업을 진행하고 있습니다. <2022년도 해외 태권도용품 지원 사업> 지원국가를 아래와 같이 게시합니다. 지원국가 - 몽골, 스리랑카, 키르기스스탄, 동티모르, 레바논, 온두라스 (6개국) 지원용품 - 태권도용품 5종 3,350개 태권도용품은 국가별 대한민국 대사관 및 태권도협회를 통해 잘 전달되었습니다.

태권도평화봉사단 발대식...94명 22개국 파견 한류문화 전파 세계태권도평화봉사재단(총재 이중근)은 지난 7일 서울시 중구 부영빌딩 3층 대강당에서 '제24기 동계 세계태권도평화봉사단 발대식'을 열었다.이날 행사에는 세계태권도평화봉사재단 이중근 총재를 대신한 신명호 이사를 비롯해 재단 임직원, 교육연수원장, 봉사단원 등 100여명이 참석했다.최종 선발된 봉사단원들은 신한대학교에서 지난 12월23일부터 30일까지 해외 봉사활동을 위한 기본 소양과 태권도 이론 및 실기교육을 받았다. 발대식을 마친 봉사단원 94명은 이달 둘째주부터 라트비아 등 세계 22개국에 파견돼 현지인들에게 태권도 지도와 한국어 교육 등을 통해 한류문화전파에 앞장서는 민간 외교관 역할을 하게 된다.신명호 이사는 "봉사단원은 대한민국 국기인 태권도를 통해 국제평화 증진과 한류문화를 전파하는 민간외교관이다. 특히 올해는 도쿄 올림픽을 앞두고 태권도 종주국 위상을 위한 세계태권도평화봉사단의 역할이 매우 중요하다"며 "투철한 사명감과 자부심을 가져달라"고 강조했다.세계태권도평화봉사재단은 태권도 문화와 스포츠 정신을 세계에 알리고 봉사 활동을 통한 세계 평화 기여를 위해 2009년 9월 설립됐다. 현재까지 123개국(누적국가포함 527개국)에 봉사단원 2372명을 파견했다./이은경 기자 lotto@incheonilbo.com 출처 : 인천일보(http://www.incheonilbo.com)
